Sunrise Foundation is a community-focused, non-profit organization established on 1st February 2022 in Zanzibar, United Republic of Tanzania. The Foundation is formally registered under the Society Act No. 6 of 1995.

Since its establishment, Sunrise Foundation has remained committed to improving the quality of life of marginalized, vulnerable, and underserved communities through sustainable and inclusive development initiatives. The organization works to create positive social impact by empowering individuals and communities, promoting equal opportunities, and supporting long-term solutions to social challenges.

Our programs and activities focus on key areas including community development, education support, health awareness, youth empowerment, women empowerment, humanitarian assistance, social welfare, and capacity building initiatives. Through partnerships, volunteer engagement, and community participation, the Foundation aims to create lasting change and contribute to building stronger, healthier, and more resilient communities.
